This is a Superb Quality Kingwood Miniature French Commode dating to Circa 1880. The Commode is Marble topped in Red Jasper Marble and has two drawers. The original Mounts are all present and in good condition. The Piece has Rosewood, Satinwood, Ebony inlay but Kingwood is used on the front. The piece is very well executed and unusually the bottom drawer opens with full lower facade. This is a wonderful and rare item and one of the best quality I have seen.
